There are many people that are trying to earn money online and there are so much people that fail. Building an online business is not easy when you don't know what to do. When I first started online I had no clue of what to do and how to do it. I joined several companies that say get rich in 24 hours or less, but this was just crap. I joined so many systems hoping that this was the one that can get me rich. Nothing I bought took me closer to riches and everything cost me money. I picked up some eBooks here and there that actually teach me some useful things that I have used, but you never learn the whole road you have to take to earn money online. You are left to yourself to try out the methods that got the seller of the system rich, but you don't learn everything you need to get a steady income online. First of all you need the first step of creating a online business.
Picking your niche and the research:
Picking a niche is always the hard part, because you want something that you can make money on, and a great product. If you don't have your own product you can join some affiliate programs like clickbank.com. Then you should go to http://reverseinternet.com/ that is free to monitor what products that are hot. This is a helpful tool and I know that there been people that charge you money so you can stay updated on hot ClickBank products. So don't pay anybody for a free tool and for sure I have done this in the past. There are many free products out there that many systems charge money for, but you didn't know that is was free. I am listing everything that I have used of free tools that helps you make money online. Stay with a niche that you know something about and can write and talk about, because this will help you advertise your product.
Say you have found your niche and now what? Then it's time for some keyword research and to find the best ones. Google keyword tool or keywordspy.com is some great research tools to find your keywords. Always pick the high search keywords and the more competitions the better. If you are selling website traffic product you have to pick keywords that are relative to the niche.
When you have got a list of many keywords you should find out what keywords is buyer potential.

Then it's time for you to set up a website or blog so that you can sell the product that you are promoting. Choosing a domain name to your niche should be more general so that you can promote more products.
How do you do this? Here you can do so much that it's up to you to decide what you want to do. You want a domain name that you are going to set up as the promoter website. This website sells products or contains your affiliate link to the product. Why choose a domain name for your niche? Because of search engine optimization and have your own domain with your own lists building and much more. With your own domain name you have more opportunities to sell more products and get your own followers. The other part is that promoting you website in articles, hub pages, squidoo and is not allowed. You can link to it, but then you can also be voted as junk trying to sell as an affiliate direct through these advertising strategies. So how can you avoid this? You will find out in the next post.
You can also buy a domain name that is review related. This works for search engine advertising like AdWords and such. You want a domain name that you can change the content of to promote different products.
